Udupi, Apr 25: Congress party national leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to arrive in Uchila on April 27 to hold discussions with the local fishermen.
The program will be held at Uchila Mahalaxmi Temple's Shalini G Shanker auditorium and will be led by Kaup Congress candidate Vinay Kumar Sorake. To ensure the safety and security of the event, a team of SP Akshay Machindra inspected the venue.
Congress leaders including Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, Manjunath Sunegar, Harish Kini, Jithendra Furtado, Akhilesh Kotian, Sharfuddin Shaikh, Vishwas Ameen, Sathish Ameen, Roshan, Santhosh Padubidri, Shekar Hejmady, and Deepak Ermal were present during the inspection.
