Udupi: BJP candidate Yashpal Suvarna appeals to voters to re-elect party for all-round development

Udupi, Apr 26: "Support and elect BJP government again for the all-round development of the country," said Udupi BJP candidate Yashpal Suvarna.

“The current elections will be a prelude to the 2024 Loksabha elections. Provide the double engine government an opportunity to provide pro-people governance in the country and the state,” he said.

He was speaking in a meeting of BJP party workers at Kemmannu grama panchayat limits.

MLA Raghupathi Bhat said that Yashpal Suvarna has become a youth leader by being municipal councillor thrice.

Centre congratulated for releasing kerosene

The centre has released 1488 kilolitres of kerosene for the traditional fishing boats in the coastal districts. Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district fisheries marketing federation president Yashpal Suvarna has congratulated the government on the move.

The fisheries department had agreed to increase the kerosene by between 150 litres to 300 litres for traditional fishing boats.

Yashpal Suvarna has thanked on behalf of fishermen the union minister of petroleum Hardeep Singh Puri, chief minister Basavaraj Bommai, union minister of agriculture Shobha Karandlaje, BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP B Y Raghavendra and all the MLAs in the coastal region for their initiative.     

Udupi city BJP president Mahesh Takur, vice president Prashanth Kanchan, chief secretary Dinesh Ameen, party leaders Sathish Nayak, Malati and activists were present.
