Bantwal, Apr 27: B Ramanath Rai, former minister and Congress candidate, accused the BJP of relying on false rumors to remain in power, during his speech at the inauguration of the Golthamajalu zone Congress election office.

"People have decided to vote for Congress," he said. "They are comparing my administration with the five-year term of others. People say that the BJP's performance was zero, and electing Congress is the only choice."

Rai also highlighted his achievements during his tenure. "The buildings of the taluk administration, health department hospitals, and government school buildings were constructed during my term. Good roads were built, and the Kindi dam was constructed," he added.

He expressed confidence that the people would vote for development this time, saying, "The BJP cannot fool the people all the time."

The event was attended by KPCC member Chandraprakash Shetty, Panemangalore block Congress president Sudeep Kumar Shetty, zonal president Hussain, APMC former president Padmanabha Rai, Andelu Monu, senior leader Ibrahim, Goltamajalu youth Congress president Jaffar, zonal youth congress chief secretary Imthiaz Kalladka, Ibrahim K C, Nazir Kalladka, Ashraf Madaka, Siddik G S, Sooraj, and others.
