Udupi: Comparing PM Modi to a poisonous snake condemnable – MLC Pratap Simha Nayak

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (JS/EP)

Udupi, April 28: “The insulting statement made by the AICC president  Mallikarjun Kharge comparing the prime minister to a poisonous snake is condemnable,” said member of Vidhana Parishat Pratap Simha Nayak.

Speaking in a news conference held at Udupi media centre here he said that Prime Minister Modi has won the hearts of people by his achievements. “While BJP is presenting its achievements in front of the people, Congress is going with its false schemes. People know that Congress will withdraw the ban on cattle slaughter if it comes to power and corruption will be guaranteed. I have been going about as in-charge of Ullal, giving away the package of regional development from Vidhana Parishat to Mangaluru block and I have observed that BJP will bag all the 13 seats."

He said, "There is a direct contest at Puttur between Congress and BJP. BJP has won in similar circumstances in the past. People have identified the lady candidate who stood like a soldier of Hindutva for the last 30 years. We will win in between these controversies in Puttur. Those who go out from BJP are considered that they are going against Hindutva.”

“Are those in Congress not Hindus? What stand we take is important. Ours is a national party. Our activists are ready in all the polling booths,” he said.

District spokesperson Raghavendra Kini, media convener Srinidhi Hegde and district office secretary Satyananda Naik were present.
