Mumbai, Jul 21: Actor Salman Khan who has never failed to make someone feel special, paid his dues to his personal bodyguard Shera as he asked him to unveil the first look of his film ‘Bodyguard’ at a multiplex here on Thursday July 21.

Shera who was Salman’s bodyguard for almost 15 years now was completely caught off guard by the offer made by the star. He said, "Salman is the real life bodyguard." Shera considered it as an honour for him.

Salman who was present at the event said that he could trust Shera with his life. He said, "He is very trustworthy. Apart from guarding me, his duty has also been to go with every girl who has been in my life. I knew he will take good care of them wherever they go."

Actor Kareena Kapoor who plays the female lead in the movie was also all praise for Shera and Salman. She said, "Shera has known me since I was 10 years old. And today, he is launching the promo of my film. He has known me before I was an actress, so it is a very special moment. It's all thanks to Salman".

Earlier, Salman had turned down a Rs 7 crore offer to wear a particular security company’s uniform in Bodyguard instead opting for his own personal bodyguard’s brand.

Shera told the media that Salman is literally family to him. “I owe everything to him”, he said.

Romantic-action flick 'Bodyguard' directed by Siddique is a remake of the director's 2010 Malayalam movie with the same name.
