Kundapur, Sep 23: A student named Swastik, ninth standard student of Venkataramana English Medium School here, committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence at Moodugopady village near here on Thursday September 22. He was 15.
The personnel of local police station have registered a case. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the boy was overwhelmed with worries over bad performance in the ongoing mid-term examination. The policemen are looking into the possibility of the involvement of any other angles to the unfortunate decision of the student to commit suicide.
