Mangalore, Sep 24: Both Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts basked in sunlight on Friday September 23, as the day went without any rain.
A little drizzle here and there was reported. Aurad in Bijapur district was the only place in the state to record one cm of rain.
The meteorological department has predicted rains in a few regions in the coast and hinterland during the next 24 hours.
