Udupi: Post Centenary Silver Jubilee Cross Reaches Kolalgiri Parish

Udupi, Sep 25: Mangalore Diocese Post Centenary Silver Jubilee cross reached Kolalgiri Parish on Saturday September 24 at 4 pm.

Pethri St Peter Church parish priest Fr Victor D’Souza along with parishioners of Pethri church handed over the cross to Kolalgiri parish priest Fr Edwin D'Souza, who received the cross with parishioners.

Sacred Heart of Jesus church is the 107th church where post centenary Silver Jubilee cross was received. A small prayer was held by Fr Joel after receiving the cross.

The cross will remain in the Kolalgiri church for two days and will then continue its journey towards Kallianpur Milagres Church on Monday September 26 evening at 4.30 pm.

    ours was the 5th parish to recieve this cross.that was the great experience.we had 26 hours continuous prayer services.these pics took me back to the days we recieved it from the Bondel perishoners n v had handed it to the Paldade parish.
