Udupi, Sep 26: The volleyball team of Davala College, Moodbidri, bagged the Kolkebailu Chandrashekar rolling shield in the tournament held at Madhav Pai College ground on Sunday September 25. SDM College team, Ujire, was the runner-up.
Davala College reached the semi-final by defeating the hosts Madhav Pai College, while SDM College, Ujire, defeated Poornaprajna College, Udupi, to make it to the final.
MGM College principal Professor Venkataramana Gowda, Corporation Bank officer K Venu Gopal, MPMC principal Professor P Dayanand Shetty, and College physical education director Keshav P were present at the valedictory ceremony.
