M'lore: M Vishwanat Acharya is New Appointee of State Religious Endowment Department

Mangalore, Sep 27: M Vishwanat Acharya Kadri was appointed a member of the Dakshina Kannada (DK) district committee by the state religious endowment department.

DK deputy commissioner is the president of the committee that has six members. Acharya is serving as the second trustee of Kalikamba Vinayaka Temple and also serves as a member of the Manjunateshwar Temple Renovation Committee, Kadri.


He is a former corporator and has been actively involved in various social service and voluntary organizations.  He is serving as president of the Vishwakarma Co-operative Bank and Kalikamba Seva Samiti.
