Los Angeles, Feb 23: Celebrating a special milestone, singer-actress Jennifer Lopez shared an emotional tribute to her twins, Emme Maribel Muniz and Max Muniz, as they turned 17. Taking to Instagram, JLo posted a heartfelt video montage featuring cherished moments from their childhood, vacations, and time spent together.
“Seventeen. I love you beyond forever,” she captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Lopez recently opened up about major movie roles she missed out on. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she revealed that she had auditioned for Evita, Chicago, and Nine but didn’t make the final cut.
“I remember auditioning for Evita, I remember auditioning for Chicago and for Nine — getting very close on Nine," Lopez shared.
The roles ultimately went to Madonna (Evita, 1996), Renée Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones (Chicago, 2002), and Marion Cotillard, Penélope Cruz, and Nicole Kidman (Nine, 2009).
Despite missing out on these films, Lopez remains passionate about musicals, crediting them as the inspiration behind her singing, acting, and dancing career. Though she once envisioned herself on Broadway, Hollywood had other plans, leading her to stardom in films and music.
