Mumbai, Mar 11: Janhvi Kapoor set the screen on fire with her electrifying performance in the song Nadiyon Paar from the 2021 horror-comedy Roohi. As the film celebrated its fourth anniversary, the actress took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, sharing behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the iconic dance number.

Taking to social media, Janhvi revealed that preparing for Nadiyon Paar was a whirlwind experience. Between shooting for Goodluck Jerry, she managed to squeeze in three days of rehearsals before heading straight to film the song.

"Four years of Roohi and my first solo dance number! I was such a kid back then, so nervous about this song. Hadn’t even learned how to keep my eyes open under harsh lights. Rehearsed for three days during Goodluck Jerry shoot, pulled an all-nighter in Patiala, flew out in the morning, shot Nadiyon Paar that night, wrapped it up in seven hours without sleep, and flew straight back to resume Jerry that same day. A three-day no-sleep marathon, but just pure excitement to be in front of the camera," she wrote.

Janhvi also shared an interesting tidbit about her glamorous outfit for the song, revealing that it was designed in a single day. "Fun fact: this outfit was made in just one day after a last-minute, desperate call to my knight in shining armour @manishmalhotra05. Hair, makeup, dance, wardrobe—everything was inspired by the iconic @katrinakaif," she added.

Directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Roohi tells the eerie tale of a ghost that kidnaps brides on their honeymoon. The film features Janhvi in the lead role alongside Rajkummar Rao, Varun Sharma, Alexx O'Nell, Manav Vij, and Sarita Joshi.

Looking ahead, Janhvi Kapoor has an exciting lineup of films, including Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari opposite Varun Dhawan—both of which are highly anticipated by fans.
