Gadag, Nov 9: In a shocking turn of events, a man presumed dead began breathing just moments before his funeral in Gadag-Betageri, leaving everyone astonished.

The man, identified as 38-year-old Narayan Vannal, a resident of Gadag-Betageri, had undergone a six-hour surgery for a brain haemorrhage and gallbladder-related ailment at a private hospital in Dharwad. His condition was critical, and he had slipped into a coma. Reports of his death spread soon after.

Believing he had passed away, family members began preparing for the funeral. However, while being brought home in an ambulance, Narayan suddenly began to breathe, stunning his relatives and others present.

He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Betageri, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
