Mumbai, Aug 2: Lock Upp 2 contestant and Splitsvilla fame Akanksha Choudhary has alleged that she was asked for sexual favours in exchange for financial assistance during the early phase of her modelling career.
Speaking on the reality show before her elimination, Akanksha claimed the incident occurred when she was preparing for a beauty pageant and was struggling to arrange funds for garments, training and other related expenses.
According to her, she approached a well-known personality associated with the beauty pageant industry, who had judged several pageants and was known for financially supporting aspiring contestants. She said she sought temporary financial assistance and offered to work for him to repay the amount.

Akanksha alleged that the individual invited her to his residence, where she had visited earlier, and initially attempted to hug her before allegedly behaving inappropriately. She claimed she resisted and managed to free herself.
She further alleged that the man offered to provide the required money on the condition that she engage in sexual relations with him multiple times each month.
Akanksha said she immediately rejected the proposal and told him that she would never have visited him had she been aware of his intentions.
The allegations were made during her appearance on Lock Upp 2. She did not disclose the identity of the individual, and the claims have not been independently verified. No response from the person concerned has been reported so far.
