Hyderabad, Aug 3: The makers of Telugu star Nithiin's upcoming entertainer on Monday unveiled the title of the film as 'Alias Rukmini' along with a title glimpse, generating excitement among fans.

Written and directed by Murali Kanth Devasoth, the film is being presented by actor Nani and produced by Deepthi Ganta.

Sharing the title glimpse on social media, Nithiin wrote, "You just know. When it's a bull's eye. #AliasRukmini is aiming straight at your hearts and we have just begun... Title Reveal Glimpse Out Now. You will talk a lot about this film."

The title glimpse opens with a conversation between director Murali Kanth Devasoth and Nani, with the filmmaker describing the project as a story about Krishna. The visuals then introduce Nithiin's character, who appears to be asleep on a chair and is portrayed as an author of books on sensual themes.

Nani interrupts the narration, pointing out that all the books shown in the teaser have been written by "Rukmini" rather than Krishna. When he asks who Rukmini is, Nithiin's character responds, "Rukmini is my wife." The teaser ends with Nani expressing his approval of the script and asking when filming will begin.

Sources said the shooting of the film is expected to commence soon.

The film boasts a strong technical team, with cinematography by Jomon T. John, music by Vijai Bulganin and editing by Srujana Adusumilli. Costumes are designed by Rekha Boggarrapu, while Ramana Madhavaram serves as co-director.
