Rio de Janeiro, March 24 (IANS): Former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato is set to be recalled by national football coach Luiz Felipe Scolari for Brazil's friendly against Bolivia next month.
The 23-year-old has not represented his country since playing in Brazil's 3-0 victory over Sweden in August last year.
But he has shown glimpses of his best form with four goals for Corinthians since his 15 million-euro move from AC Milan in January, Xinhua reported.
Earlier this month, the centre-forward strung together 11 consecutive matches for the first time since 2009.
Scolari will announce his squad for the April 6 match in Santa Cruz de la Sierra Thursday. Only Brazil-based players will be considered as the fixture is on a non-FIFA date.
