Congratulations to all for the sacrifice and dedication. May the Lord bless you all.
At the same time I wonder why there are so many disagreements on the messages expressed. All are congratulatory and not biased in anyway. Only the lord will know these peoples' mindset.

Deacons play an important part in parts of the Christian world. At a time priests are getting lessoned the present of a Deacon is most essential whether it is in the church for funerals, weddings, baptisms and many other Christian community occasions. Many of these deacons, dependent upon their performance record, can even become priests eventually by leading their examples and morals to many others in their families, their neighborhoods and their communities too.

India's secular society will also gain lot of additional knowledge by the dedication of these Deacons and by doing so they will also gain more information on the Christian values that are displayed by these Deacons in many public affairs outside the church.

So pleased to see so many young men have come forward to serve the cause of Christianity which in turn brings lot of pride and joy to the community as a whole. It is our desire that these Deacons should also get closely attached to many of the "Goorkhars" in many parishes and find out so many other needs of ordinary people that seek God's help in so many areas of their daily life.

Deacons are the "uncrowned Ambassadors" of our Diocese that can bring lot of additional public support to the Bishop and all the clergy in our daily pursuit of faith and discipline. God bless
