Mangaluru: Customs seize foreign currency worth Rs 3.5 lac at airport

Mangaluru, June 18: The customs officers at Mangaluru international airport seized foreign currency amounting to a total of Saudi Arabian riyals 20,000 in various denominations inequivalent to Rs 3,52,000 from a passenger Jafar Sadique Chala Mohammed Kunhi, a Vidyanagar Kasargod resident . He was not in possession of any valid exchange documents and was attempting smuggle the currency outside india during his departure on 17 June on Jet airways flight number 9W532 to Dubai.

    strange,usually People bring foreign currency to Homeland.here vice versa.Some machinery is working probably in kasargod area busy with Gold Import and foreign currency.carriers are there enough .I too would like to have some Money ,never mind which currency .Any tip?
