Mangalore: Rosemary & Mamata Bag Gold in Asian Kabaddi Tourney

Mangalore, Oct 23: Rosemary Pricilla and Mamata Poojary, international Kabaddi players and local residents here, have bagged gold medal in Asian Kabaddi Championship Tournament held recently at Tehran, the capital of Iran.

India emerged first among the 8 counties participated at this Kabaddi tournament. 

Rosemary Pricilla a native of Puttur, Mamata Poojary from Mangalore, Tejaswini from Bangalore and Jayanti represented Karnataka in India’s Kabaddi team.  Rosemary Pricilla has represented our country for the second time in international Kabaddi tournament.  She has bagged trophies in the entire eight national-level Kabaddi tournaments.
