Udupi: Rashtriya Heddari Ulisi Sangha Calls for Bundh on Oct 30

Times of India

Udupi, Oct 25: Rashtriya Heddari Ulisi Sangha (Save National Highway 17), an organisation, has given a call for total bandh of the NH-17 passing through Udupi district on October 30.

Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, the organisers said the condition of NH-17, passing through Udupi district from Shiroor to Hejamadi covering a distance of 107 km, is in a bad condition. “Many representatives were sent to the NH authorities and transport ministry seeking repair of the road, but in vain,” they said.

The organisation is the brain child of former minister K Jayaprakash Hegde.

Thanks to Mr. K. Jayaprakash Hedge. Yes, these ministers are busy counting the currency notes. They do not have time to think. Best way not to allow these vehicles to pass through these roads. Let them wait till the concerned minister wake up from his sleep. Good wishes for the success.
