Mangalore, Oct 25: It is essential for the banks to focus on increasing the youth clientele and to develop new generation banking products, taking into consideration the competitiveness in banking segment, said deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao.

He was speaking at the 76th Founder’s day celebrations programme organized by Vijaya Bank, on Wednesday October 24 evening, at their regional office in the city.

All those educational loans that were approved by various branches of Vijaya Bank, in the city were distributed by M Maheshwar Rao, on the same occasion.

Regional manager K G Hegde welcomed.  Assistant general manager Surya Kumar Rai delivered the introductory address.  General manager Manjunath Rai proposed vote of thanks.
