M'lore: Rotaract Club Central to Host Competitions for Children

Mangalore, Oct 26: Rotaract Club Mangalore Central will host a series of competitions "Makkala Utsava" (Children's Festival) for the students from undivided Dakshina Kannada and Kasaragod districts on November 4 in Sharada Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Kodialbail.

This was announced by Chandrashekhar P, PRO of the club to mediapersons here in the Press Club on Friday, October 26.

The competition will be inaugurated by B Nagaraj Shetty, former minister in charge of the district at 9-15 am, he added.

Fancy-dress competition, memory test, singing competition, painting competition, drawing competition, quiz competition, classical dance competition and folk dance competition will be held as part of the children festival, the PRO informed.

Prizes will be distributed on the same day. Those interested can contact Shawn D'Silva at 98454 31914, he further said.
