Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (NR)

Mangalore, Oct 27: In view of Oral Health Month, free dental check-ups are being organized in the city by Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited, the market leader in Oral Care, in association with the Indian Dental Association (IDA), informed a press release here.

The said free dental check-ups are a month-long oral health awareness programme organized by Colgate and IDA which will run throughout the month of October 2007.

In addition to Mangalore, the free dental check-up is also being offered in other cities across India and will see over 8000 dentists in 175 cities committing a part of their time for this initiative everyday through October 2007. These free dental check-ups in clinics of the participating dentists instead of at public dental camps, gives consumers the confidence of having a check-up in the environment of a dentist’s clinic.

Those interested in availing the free dental check-up, have to simply call the toll free OHM helpline 1800-22-55-99 or SMS their pin-code to 5676725 for details of the participating dentists conducting free dental check-ups close to their homes. They then need to place a call to the dentist for an appointment and simply schedule their free dental check-up.

Interested consumers and shoppers can also log on to the Oral Health Month website (www.oralhealthmonth.co.in), for complete information on the free dental check-ups and other activities under OHM 2007.
