Udupi, Oct 30: A house located close to Muloor school lies exposed to peril, owing to the intensified sea erosion all along the sea shore.

A temporary barrier wall built with boulders and rocks near Padu Government Fisheries School, Muloor, in the past has been totally washed away, owing to the turbulent sea and high velocity winds hitting the shoreline, since 3– 4 days.

The house of Ashok Putran, president of Muloor Mogaveer Sabha, lies in precarious condition.  Besides, the newly-built house of Vinod Suvarna, former president of Sabha, located little away from Putran’s house, also faces the immediate danger.  The barrier wall built with boulders and rocks for a distance of 2 kms has already been devoured by raging waves.

Kaup Gram Panchayat secretary Sundar Prabhu, has visited the site to review the sea erosion, on Monday October 29.
