Mangalore: Students’ Internet World 2007 Inaugurated

Mangalore, Oct 31: A three-day event known as the Students’ Internet World 2007 was inaugurated at the Mangalore University Old Senate Hall here on Tuesday October 30, in order to train 3,150 students studying in various schools around the University. They will be coached on information technology at the Mangalore University premises from Tuesday October 30, to November 1.

Speaking on the occasion, Manjaiah D H Mangalore University Computer Science HoD informed that the said event is conducted in accordance with the order of the State government. According to Manjaiah the programme has received good response from teachers, students and common man in the present circumstances.

The programme was inaugurated at the university campus by BEO Harishchandra. Kionicks yuva.com director Sadath Nalooru was the chief guest. The valedictory function will be held on November 1.
