Bantwal: Shivram Rai Murder - Three Arrested

Bantwal, Nov 1: The Vittal police have arrested 3 persons in connection with the murder of Shivu alias Shivaram Rai on Thursday November 1.

The arrested persons have been identified as Jagdish Jain, Harish and Surendra alias Tammu. Shivaram Rai was found brutally murdered at Mani by hacking him with a saber, on Wednesday, October 31 evening.

Earlier to this, Shivaram Rai and the arrested were identified in the same group. However some clashes that took placebetween them on Wednesday morning resulted in slaying of Shivaram Rai.

Initial investigations have revealed that a clash over annual contract of weekly market of Mani was the prime reason behind the murder.
