Kundapur: Our Lady of Rosary Church Celebrates Annual Feast

Kundapur, Nov 28: A grand procession of Believers of Christ was held with great devotion and religious fervor here on the eve of parish feast of Our Lady of the Rosary Church Tuesday November 27.

The entire church premises was being decorated with lights and thousands of believers took part at the procession as the procession.  At the end of the procession Vespers was celebrated with the liturgy of Word of God under the leadership of priest Fr Antony Lobo.

Wednesday will be a special occasion for all the parishioners of the Our Lady of Rosary church as it is the feast day for them.  The annual feast which is popularly known as ‘vhodlem fest’ was celebrated with great pomp on Wednesday.  Number of priests from Kundapur and other deaneries, thousands of devotees took part in the Eucharist Celebration. The church compound was filled with various shops, ice creams vans, fair and other items.  A cultural programme as part of the parish feast will be held on Wednesday evening.

    Thanks to Daiji and Vinay for wonderful jobs. Memories going back to many years beautiful vesper nights like grotto full of candles, stalls, procession, crackers, sweet shops and feast day etc etc. Vinay try to put more picture if possible. Thanks again

    Good work Vinay. Is it possible to upload more photographs of this feast. We miss our Parish a lot as we have a lot of memories.
