Udupi, Dec 3: Kasturba Hospital is observing Dhanvantari Week from Monday December 3 to Saturday December 8.

The practitioners of Ayurveda celebrate the birthday of Lord Dhanvantari, the God of health, healing and cure on Friday December 7 as ‘Dhanvantari Jayanti’.
In the year 1984 the Kasturba Hospital started the Ayurveda department with an aim to provide holistic medical care to the patients along with scientific research in traditional medicine.
