Udupi: Sand Art Sculpted to Convey Importance of Nature

Udupi, Jul 29: Students of the Fine Arts School, Raghavendra K Amin, Dhananjaya Padubidri, Ramesh Hattihole, Mahesh, and Santosh Nejar, sculpted sand art with a message on the sea shore near Malpe light house, on Monday July 28.

The theme of their sculpture was ‘Mankind to go extinct with nature’s destruction,’ and was crafted under the direction of K L Bhat of Chitra Kala Mandir. The sculpting was held in association with Udupi Fine Arts School and Fine Arts Graduates’ Federation.
 
Though it was raining intermittently, the enthusiastic sand artists completed the sculpture on Monday afternoon.
