Udupi: Free Screening Camp for Disabled at Mudarangadi on Aug 5

Udupi, Jul 30: Light Artificial Limb Fitting Centre, Kunjibettu Udupi has informed, that it would be be conducting a free screening camp for the disabled persons at St Francis Xavier Church hall Mudarangadi, Udupi district from 10.30 am onwards on Tuesday August 5.

At the camp, the centre will be offering services like fixing of prosthetic limbs as well as providing crutches, calipers and walking sticks free of cost.

The handicapped persons, who are desirous of making use of this opportunity, will have to produce the following documents:

1. Two photographs of self
2. Certificate issued by doctors or disabled identity card.
3. Ration card (BPL)

The assistant area coordinator of the centre, Arun M Kamath, has requested the needy to make use of the camp. The camp is being organized to extend them medical help towards making their lives bearable, he added.
