Moodbidri: Alva's Special School Inaugurated on I-Day

Moodbidri, Aug 17: Alva's special school, named after well-known social worker Mohini Nayak, was inaugurated on the occasion of Independence Day here. Dr Mohan Alva, Meejaruguttu Anada Alva, and others were present to bless the special school children.

The foundation stone for the new library of Alva's Institute of Engineering and Technology, was laid. Veteran Kannada writer Kayyara Kinjanna Rai was present on the occasion, and the library is to be named after him. Dr Alva, Anada Alva, Amaranath Shetty, and Captain Ganesh Karnik,were also present.
