Mangalore-Bangalore Train may Resume on Aug 18

Mangalore, Aug 18: The sources of South Western Railway (SWR) said that the train services to Bangalore from the city may resume on Monday August 18. Train services were suspended last week due to landslides reported at six places on the ghat section following heavy rains in the region.

Chief Public Relations Officer of SWR, B S Dasarathi told media that the work of clearing mud have been completed in five places. 'We will operate trains only when we are sure that the tracks are clear and devoid of any obstacles'.
