Mangalore: DYFI Condemns Police Atrocities on Christian Protesters

Daijiworld Media Network—Mangalore (RD/CN)

Mangalore, Sep 18: The DYFI on Wednesday September 17, condemned the police atrocities on those protesting against the attack on churches and prayer halls across the city and the district.

The DYFI accused the police of joining hands with Sangh Parivar activists and questioned why those responsible were not arrested despite the statements from Bajrang Dal leader Mahendra Kumar and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader M B Mutalik, owning up to the  acts.

The DYFI also alleged that the ruling BJP had connived to encourage such attacks and were now claiming ignorance of the pre-planning done by the Bajrang Dal in attacking Christians.

DYFI town committee secretary Ramesh Kumar urged for a judicial enquiry into the police atrocities.
