Mangalore: Unable to Concentrate on Studies, Student Commits Suicide

Mangalore, Sep 18: A first year pre-university student of the city ended his life on Wednesday September 17, by hanging himself at his hostel room.

The boy, identified as C K Sahadeva from Chikkanahalli near Belur of Hassan district, was a student of St Aloysius PU College here. It is said, he was in deep depression because of his inability to concentrate on studies. The recent theft of his mobile phone is said to have added to his worries. In a suicide note left behind, Sahadeva is said to have stated, that he was stressed as he was a dull student.

The Bunder police have registered a case and are investigating.
