Mangalore: Assailants Injure Bus Conductor in Adyar Tension Prevails

Mangalore, Sep 21: Tension prevailed in Adyar-Valachil on the night of Sunday September 21 after  unknown assailants severely injured one person. 

The injured man has been identified as Mohan, a conductor for R K Travels in the city. Eye witnesses said that he was sitting in front of his room in Adyar after supper when four persons on two bikes hit him on the head with rods. Mohan was also stabbed in the stomach and right hand, with sharp weapons.

He was taken to a city hospital with bad head and stomach wounds. Kankanady rural police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
