Moodbidri: NCC of 18 Karnataka Battalion Bags Championship at National Camp

Moodbidri, Sep 23: National Cadet Corps (NCC) of 18 Karnataka battalion headquartered at Mangalore, won several honours including the overall championship at the NCC national brotherhood camp held at Binnaguri, in Siliguri district of West Bengal, recently.

The NCC team consisted of 10 men in and 10 women from the senior division and was led by Capt Radhakrishna Shetty, NCC officer, Mahaveer College. The team also bagged the best directorate award, first place in national brotherhood awareness, and second place in solo dance.

NCC group commander Col G R R Reddy of 18 Karnataka battalion, commanding officer Suresh Kumar, Subedar Major Pradeep Tapa, and Prof T K Mohan, principal,  Mahaveer College, congratulated the NCC team on their marvelous performance.
