Mangalore: Prohibitory Orders Extended till Sep 25

Mangalore, Sep 24: The prohibitory orders that were in force in Mangalore, Bantwal and Beltangady taluks as well as Moodbidri under section 144 have been extended till 8 am on Thursday September 25.

Section 144 had been clamped in these places after Christian prayer centres were targeted by miscreants supposedly belonging to the Bajrangdal. The orders were earlier extended till September 22. The deputy commissioner has since extended the prohibitory orders as above.
