Udupi: Police Nab Two Attempting to Burglarize Kaup School

Udupi, Sep 25:
Kaup police nabbed two persons who were attempting to burgle Vidhyavardaka Higher Primary School, Kaup, at Pangala on National Highway 17, on the night of Tuesday September 24.
 
The arrested have been identified as K M Ismail (40), a resident of Kanchinadka, Padubidri, and Abdul Latif (31), a resident of Bantwal. The duo were nabbed by a police patrol. A Bajaj Chetak scooter, axe, and iron rod, were recovered from them.
 
The police produced Ismail and Latif before the court and they have been remanded to judicial custody till Wednesday October 3. Kaup sub-inspector Joy Antony and other policemen nabbed the burglars.

    This is called 'Ibbara Nyaaya - Mooraneyavanige aadaya' If they had succeeded in their deed, there would have been further disturbance to the present hard earned tranquility. Upon proving them guilty, they must be punished severely.
