Mangalore: Prohibitory Orders Extended Further

Mangalore, Sep 25: The prohibitory orders clamped in Mangalore, Bantwal and Beltangady taluks besides Moodbidri under section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, have been further extended in all these areas till 8 am on Saturday September 27, a release from the deputy commissioner's office here, said.

The prohibitory orders earlier issued in connection with disturbances in the city, were extended a couple of times. As per the previous order, the orders were to expire at 8 am on Thursday September 25.
