Udupi: Gang Forcibly Enters House, Beats up Family Members

Udupi, Sep 26: A gang of miscreants entered the house of a BJP activist at Hejmady near Mulky on the night of Thursday September 25, beat up family members including women, besides posing life threats. Tension prevailed in the village after the incident.

It is said, that the assault was related to an accident on the same afternoon, in which a pedestrian named Para Salian (60) from Hejmady was hit by a speeding motor bike, ridden by Rameez, near the village. Salian suffered fracture in the leg and was treated at A J Hospital Mangalore. People, who had gathered at the accident spot, had censured the bike rider for rash driving.

A gang led by Rameez gate-crashed into the house of the local unit president of the BJP Yuvamorcha named Sharan Kumar at around 9 pm and assaulted the inmates. It is said that the gang members posed life threats to him, saying that they belong to KFD. Hearing the commotion, people gathered there, after which the gang members fled. The people however, could catch hold of two of the gang members and handed over them to the Padubidri police.

The victims are being treated in a private hospital in Padubidri.

    Noel, Before asking others, start from home. please read the history of ancestors of Konakani Christians - how they were forcibly converted. Don't read any books written by Hindus. There are enough books written by Goan Christians themselves. Also there are plenty of books in University of Bombay some published by University of Bombay. Please understand that you are supporting a person who injured an old man!

    This is the begining. Wait and see the fruit. I doubt, whether we have our lovely mother India one day. As each community will be bothered only about themselves. Go and read the history of India. Are you going to betray / hand over India again to foreign hands?. Bajarang Dal / BJP if you have little sense, think and answer my questions.

    Very soon the politicians who have been responsible for promoting communal hatred and gain from it start getting back what they had sowed.this will be the same case like the u.s. which promoted osama bin laden and now is finding itself in a mess. 

    The politicians of our country who have started these terror groups will find themselves in the same mess.
