Kasargod: Arguments between friends culminates in murder

Kasargod, Nov 17: In an incident which happened in the outskirts of the city on the night of Sunday November 15, a person was killed after he was hit on the head with a club.

The deceased was Vijayan Maistry (55). The murder happened in a rented home at Santhosh Nagar, Chengala, in the outskirts of the city.

The police are searching for a youth from Tamil Nadu who used to live with Maistry. It is said that Maistry and his friend were involved in a heated argument over some issue, at the end of which Maistry was hit on his head at the spur of the moment by his friend, causing his instant death.
