Bantwal: Foundation stone laid for new Moulana Azadnagar English Medium School

Bantwal, Nov 17: Bantwal MLA, Rajesh Naik Ulippadiguthu laid the foundation stone on Tuesday for the new Moulana Azadnagar English Medium School being constructed by the district minority welfare department at a cost of Rs 2.35 crore in Mularapatna, Arala village.

He said that the governments at the center and the state are stressing on education. “The new school is being constructed to provide quality education to minority children. It will be opened in the next academic year.

“People here are facing difficulties by the collapse of the Malarapatna bridge that connects to Mangaluru. Funds for its repairs are released with a special initiative. Its tender process is completed and the work will begin by May,” he said.

District panchayat member, M Tungappa Bangera, BJP block president, Devappa Poojary, JHM Foundation president, Hamza, Nirmithi Kendra executive director, Rajendra Kalbavi, gram panchayat former member, Mohammed Hajabba, Juma Masjid president, contractor Ashraf, Higher Primary Urdu School headmistress, Sameena Akhtar and teachers of Urdu School and Moulana Azad School were present.
