Udupi, Nov 18: As part of the golden jubilee celebration of ICYM Udyavar unit, the golden jubilee celebration committee and St Francis Xavier Church, Udyavar organized an Udupi deanery level 'Golden Quiz-2020' quiz competition.
To commemorate the golden jubilee year, ICYM Udyavar unit decided to organize 50 programmes respectively to mark the celebrations. As part of this celebration, the 33rd programme is scheduled to be held on Sunday November 22 at 2 pm.
The 33rd programme in memory of late Elias Machado, 'Machado's Golden Quiz - 2020' will be an esteemed event. The competition will be held between 9 parishes at the Xavier Sabhabhavan, Udyavar. The first and second place winners will be awarded a cash prize worth Rs 7,777 and Rs 5,555 respectively along with a memento. The participating teams will also be awarded.
Renowned and experienced quiz masters will conduct the competition. The audience can also win exciting prizes.
Rules and regulations:
1. Only one team can participate from a parish
2. 5 people make a team
3. Among the 5 members, 2 should be ICYM members of the parish
4. A minimum of 2 girls/ women, or 2 boys/ men should be part of the team.
5. The quiz master's decision is final
6. The competition will cover subjects related to Bible, Konkani culture, politics, Udupi diocese/ICYM and entertainment
