Kasargod: Tainted MLA M C Qamaruddin diagnosed with heart ailment

Kasargod, Nov 20: Manjeshwar MLA M C Qamaruddin, who is under judicial custody in connection to the Fashion Gold Jewellery fraud case in admitted to Kannur medical college hospital for higher treatment. The doctors in the hospital have informed that the MLA is suffering from heart-related ailment.

Chief medical officer of the hospital informed that M C Qamaruddin was subjected to Angiogram test and at present he is in the ICU unit of heart related ailments. Once the Angiogram result is available, further decision on his medical treatment will be taken.

Two days ago, as Qamaruddin fell sick in the prison, he was admitted to Kasargod general hospital. During medical examination the doctors in the hospital diagnosed that the MLA is having health issues. Later he was admitted to Kannur hospital.

T K Pookoya Tangal, main accused in the Fashion Gold Jewellery is still absconding. Police have taken out a lookout notice in his name but are not yet successful in apprehending the accused.
