Mangaluru: CODP inaugurates tailoring course in cloth bags, masks at Naikap

Mangaluru, Nov 21: CODP®, here, in collaboration with CEI Italy on November 20 inaugurated tailoring classes for cloth bags and masks at Naikap near Kumbla. 30 women registered for the course. Peter Paul D'Souza, coordinator of CODP welcomed the gathering.

Fr Vincent D'Souza, designate director of CODP explained the role of CODP and encouraged the students to accept the challenges of life in order to have a successful career. He wished them success for their future career.

Lydia Moras, coordinator of CODP spoke about the importance of the training and also said that if the students complete this course then they could go for self-employment in the future, and in turn, they could earn income and support themselves and their families.



Vijaya, the tailoring instructor, explained, in brief, the method of making cloth bags and masks, the requirements, dimensions and how to go about it.

Sunitha, a tailoring student compered the programme and Vijaya, proposed the vote of thanks.
