Ajman, Feb 3: A business delegation from Hungary headed by Arpad Khabon, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Hungary recently visited Gulf Medical University (GMU).
During their meeting with president of GMU Thumbay Moideen they discussed various business opportunities and possible joint collaborations with GMU.
The visiting delegation were taken around on the tour of the university and introduced to different medical faculties/departments and detailed about the educational pattern and the most modern and advanced equipments the University is equipped with for imparting quality education to the students. They praised the president of the University for the far sighted vision and the commitment to develop Gulf Medical University into a global brand.
Later, Moideen arranged an audience between the visiting delegation from Hungary and Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, member of the Supreme Council of UAE and the Ruler of Ajman, UAE. During the meeting they discussed about the business opportunities of mutual interest as well as the intended visit of the Prime Minister of Hungary to UAE. While reviewing cooperation in the field of higher education between the universities of Ajman and the Semmelweis University, especially in the medical field, they also discussed exchange of valuable experiences between both sides through mutual visits of students and faculty members of both the universities.
The visit of Hungarian delegation comes within the framework of joint cooperation between Semmelwies University and Gulf Medical University. The delegation was coordinated by Bela Velez, diplomat from the Hungarian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
