Oman, Mar 12: The annual cricket tournament organized by the Billawa Community here will be held on March 16 at the PDO ground. The event will begin at 7.30 am.

As per Gangadhar Poojary, Sujith Anchan and Mahesh Salian - the main co-ordinators for the event,  there will be 10 teams participating for the cup. They are Katapadi S N G (Nama Ember  Telecom),  Bedra  XI  (Media  One),    Sohar Biruver S N G XI  (Al  Kiyumi  Integrated.), Kudroli S N G XI  'B',  Birduda Biruver(Al  Amin  Golden  Ent.),  S N G XI  'A'  (Oasis  Ideal Trad.), Billawa Challengers (Red Rose Furnishing), S N G XI ‘C’ and Poojary XI 'B'.

The main sponsors  are  Uday  Kumar,  Ratnakar  Kotian,  Umesh  Bantwal,  Ramkrishna  Poojary,  Mahesh Salian; Prasad Amin; Chandrkant; S K Poojary, Kushal Bangera and Ashok Suvarna.
 
The working committee said that transport  arrangement  has  been made from Qurum to the venue for those members who avail the facility.
 
Gangadhar  Poojary,  sports  general secretary  says  “Overwhelming  response  received  and  10 
teams  will  battle  for  Oman  Billawas  Cricket  Cup  2012,  lot  of  individual  players  called  and 
we healthy and memorable one. We are expecting more than 350 cricket enthusiasts present on 
March 16.”
