Mangaluru: Mother, son go missing

Mangaluru, Oct 31: A missing complaint is filed in Padubidri police station about a woman and her son not returning home since October 29.

Deepa (28), wife of tipper driver Srikant and her son, who live on rent in the house belonging to Imtiyaz of Sunnadagoodu, are missing and no trace of their whereabouts been found.

Deepa and her husband used to quarrel frequently for the past one year. On October 22, they had a fierce verbal spat. Brother of Deepa and family members had come down and advised Srikant. After that episode both were in good rapport with each other.

On Saturday, October 29, Srikant had gone to his driving work. When he tried to call his wife in the evening, he came to know that the house is locked from outside. When Srikant reached home and checked, he came to know that his wife has left with her son to unknown destination. Search for her in relatives house did not yield any result.

Padubidri police are investigating further.
