Beltangady: Bike-rickshaw Collision - Pillion Rider Killed

Beltangady, May 14: Keshav (24), son of Vasu Devadiga, living in Kutloor in the taluk, was killed in an accident that occurred late night on Thursday near Kukkuje Cross at his native place. Keshav was travelling as the pillion rider of a motor bike driven by Jagadish.

An auto rickshaw that suddenly turned to Alamba Road at Kukkuje Cross hit the motor bike. Keshav, who was critically injured, was rushed to Mangalore hospital. But he did not respond to treatments. Jagadish too was injured in the accident, but he is out of danger now.

A complaint was filed in this connection by Sanjeev Devadiga from Kutloor. Venur police have registered the case, and taken up investigation.

    i am sorry to say, nothing new.
    To stop above thinks:
    Karnataka all the road should be each side three lines footpath.
    then only we can stop accident.
    otherwise it's not possible to stop.
    but people of karnataka not worried, if one big stone in the middle of the road people will not remove.
    see near malikatta, kankanady, nantoor, kadri, all most all the place no proper bus stand.
    but like this, may be no good engineer, may no good political leader, may people are busy making money. may be selfish people.
    some govt. dept.Govt is not paid 3-4 month salary for Govt. employs.
    then where is the money.
    which every party in Karnataka.
    Kindly reqesting u to pls. spend more money for road safety.
