Udupi, Nov 23: Young Writer Glanish Jude Martis Alangaru has been selected for the late Joseph- Mary Pinto Niddodi Memorial literary award-2022. The award is presented in association with Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh to young Konkani writers.
His stories, poems and articles have been published in Konkani periodicals and in social media. He has won prizes in many story, poems and article writing competitions.
Glanish won the gold medal in BSc biotechnology from Mangalore University in 2021 and presently he is studying MSc at Alva's College, Moodbidre.
The award will be presented at the author’s convention to be held on December 4 organised by Konkani Writers Association-Karnataka and Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh in Milagres College Kallianpur, said Dr. Gerald Pinto, coordinator of the awards committee in a press release.
